Leather Care Instructions

DOs

  • Large chunks of soil are best removed using warm water and a soft brush or cloth

  • To dry damp boots, fill them with newspaper. This will draw the moisture out of the leather. Place the boots in a dry place
  • The best way to care for the boots is to use dubbin, this helps keep the football boot waterproof and the leather supple
  • When storing boots, use a boot tree. The will help the boots maintain their original shape
  • A characteristic of football boots made from genuine leather: In the course of use, a small gap may develop between the outsole and the upper. This is normal and will not affect your play

DON'Ts

  • Do not put the boots in a washing machine
  • Do not put the boots in a bag after washing
  • Do not expose the boots to direct sunlight or leave near a heat source like an oven or radiator after washing. The leather must dry from the inside to the outside. If this does not occur the leather may crack which reduces the lifespan of the boots. Leather is an organic material, top surface abrasion can happen and small cracks can occur after several hours of usage. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the leather
